The second round of the World Series, the first European stop on the classic Nové Město course. For the first half the situation remained fluid, with world champion Jenny Rissveds and Ronja Blöchlinger active, alongside Specialized's Stigger and Frei. From the fourth lap Laura Stigger capitalized on a lull to break away. Rissveds didn't close the gap, while Frei managed the situation to help her teammate, and Stigger's advantage at the start of the final lap was around one minute.
While Stigger locked up the top spot, a fierce battle for second broke out. Evie Richards attacked but a crash put her out of contention. In the end Rissveds took second ahead of Frei. Laura Stigger secures her first career World Series victory outside of the Americas, delivering the 30th women's World Series win for Specialized Factory Racing!
