The World Series returns to Europe and the start list fills out with many riders absent from the last round, including world champion Alessandra Keller and Puck Pieterse, who has wrapped up her road season. Jenny Rissveds set the early pace; after the midway point Pieterse showed at the front and upped the pace on the sixth lap. Right at the finish, Keller had a wobble that caused her to crash, taking down Neff. It came down to the final lap, with Rissveds attacking but not enough to create a selection. Everything was decided in a sprint, and it was the Dutch champion who took the win on her seasonal debut! Stigger finished second, Nicole Koller third. Sina Frei remains the overall leader.
