Trentino is a global icon for the Dolomites and Lake Garda, a paradise where the peaks meet the valleys. But beyond the postcards, this is the land of cycling dynasties: from the Moser family to Simoni and Canins, up to modern stars like Paternoster and Trentin. Yet, the "new wave" is changing the script. No longer just climbers, Trentino is now producing the fastest wheels in the peloton.

Two names, separated by just one year, are leading this revolution: Agata Campana and Alessio Magagnotti!

Born on May 29 2008, in Castelfranco Veneto but originally from San Nazario in Valbrenta (Vicenza), she is now "Trentina" by adoption, attending school in Trento and having raced for the Trentino Cycling Academy.

In the U17 category, she won a total of 7 races, including the prestigious Coppa Rosa (the women's version of the Coppa d'Oro). She was the first local athlete to win this highly coveted race organized by VC Borgo, whose president at the time was Stefano Casagranda, father of Andrea, rider currently with BePink.

Moving up to the Junior with Vo2, she won 6 national races in her debut season, alongside European and World titles on the track in the sprint disciplines.

This year, she won the Omloop van Borsele, confirming her status as one of the top sprinters, not just domestically, but on the world stage.
