The race was won by the World and European Champion Marlen Reusser with a time of 29'36", the only athlete to average over 48 km/h! Finishing second at 11"; was yesterday's winner and U23 World Champion, Zoe Bäckstedt! Loes Adegeest completes the podium, 54"; behind the winner.
The general classification shifts as Longo Borghini, fifth on the stage, is overtaken by Reusser, who becomes the new race leader. French time trial champion Cédrine Kerbaol also makes significant gains, moving up to third in the GC. Dropping down the overall standings is the Swiss champion Steffi Häberlin, who finished the time trial in 42nd position, 2'27"; down on Reusser.
Tomorrow's stage features a triple ascent of the Col de la Croix: the first time covering only the final 6km, the second time in its entirety, while the final climb will see the race finish at the summit in Villars-sur-Ollon!
