The inaugural LOTTO Thüringen Women Cycling Challenge unfolded over a hilly 121.6 km circuit around Gera. Early attacks saw Maud Rijnbeek go clear with 40 km to go, only to be caught with 25 km left, while the undulating terrain kept the peloton fragmented. A decisive move by Lisa Klein was neutralised on the Ferberturm climb, leaving a quartet of Human Powered Health riders and Malou Eisen to contest the finale. In the end, Marit Raaijmakers prevailed in a four‑rider sprint, securing her first career win, with teammate Iurani Blanco taking second and Malou Eisen rounding out the podium.
