📰 FDJ United - SUEZ seals a partnership with Red Bull ahead of the Tour de France Femmes | ✍️ article by: @ale.airaghi

It had been rumored for a while and we had already hinted at it, but now it's official: to mark the start of the Tour de France Femmes, Demi Vollering's FDJ-SUEZ, leading team in the Women's WorldTour, has announced a strategic partnership with Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull, which joins the team as "a major partner and official energy drink partner".

For the squad led by Stephen Delcourt, this is yet another global powerhouse joining the project. Alongside its two historic partners (FDJ and SUEZ) the team has brought in heavyweights like Nike for apparel and Specialized for bikes over the past two years.

The Austrian multinational boasts a long-standing tradition in cycling. Starting in off-road and extreme disciplines like Enduro and Downhill, it eventually established a strong presence in road cycling, both through individual sponsorships (Tom Pidcock, Wout van Aert, Zoe Bäckstedt) and at team level, becoming the main sponsor of the men's Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe squad in 2024.

Joining FDJ-SUEZ marks Red Bull's first historic sponsorship of a WWT team, further proof of the rapidly growing interest in women's cycling. A strong hint came a few weeks ago with FDJ's signing of mountain biker Kate Courtney. Starting today, the French team's riders will sport the iconic branded helmet in races.

"We are delighted to welcome Red Bull with us, and this partnership is the pinnacle of all the structuring and development efforts we have tirelessly invested in over the past years." - Stephen Delcourt, FDJ-SUEZ Team Manager
