🟢 Points Classification:
Lorena Wiebes takes the green jersey on stage one and, nine stages later, arrives in Nice to claim the second green jersey of her career, following her victory last year. This remains a landmark result as she equals her compatriot Marianne Vos with two points classification titles! Finishing not far behind in second was Demi Vollering, winner of three stages alongside her overall victory. Lotte Kopecky completes the classification podium in third with 120 points.
🔴⚪️ Mountain Classification:
The Mountain Classification initially saw Océane Mahé in the lead, delivering a huge result for Team Ma Petite Entreprise on their race debut. However, the dynamic shifted on stage three as Puck Pieterse went on to rack up QOM points stage after stage to seal the final victory! Following her best young rider title in 2024, Pieterse adds another major jersey to her collection! Finishing behind her were Vollering on 30 points and Niewiadoma on 28 points.
⚪️ Best Young Rider:
With the classification open to riders born in 2003 or later, expectations pointed to a straight battle between Niedermaier and Blasi. However, the contest proved one-sided: Niedermaier took the jersey on stage five and consolidated her lead day by day, while Blasi was left battling I. Holmgren, who spent time ahead of her in the standings.
👭 Team Classification:
UAE Team ADQ rolled up to the start line with a powerhouse squad, and they duly delivered by claiming the team classification. They finished ahead of Lidl-Trek, who surged from fifth to second place on the final stage, and FDJ-SUEZ, who slipped out of second place just as Vollering was sealing her overall victory.
🟩 Super-combative Award:
Kasia Niewiadoma finishes second overall, but takes home the super-combative award after a Tour de France Femmes raced entirely on the front foot, defying every prediction that had framed Demi Vollering as the overwhelming favorite!
