While the World Championships captured global attention, the French UCI 1.2-category race Mirabelle Classic delivered thrilling action over a 108km hilly course from Jarny to Bouxières-aux-Chênes. A strong breakaway animated the race before Brazilian rider Gabriela Guerra of the Wheel Divas team launched a decisive solo attack from the lead group.
Guerra maintained a solid advantage over the chasers through the demanding finale, featuring the Côte d'Amance near the finish. She successfully held off her pursuers to seal a magnificent solo triumph after riding more than 40 kilometers alone out front, marking a breakthrough road victory for the former MTB and Esports specialist who joined the German Continental team this past August.
In the sprint for the remaining podium positions, Émilie Morier secured second place ahead of Victoire Berteau. Malou Eisen finished fourth as the top rider for VolkerWessels, a team that famously dominated the race last season.
