Canyon//SRAM has announced its first signing for the 2027 season, securing 23-year-old Swiss talent Jasmin Liechti on a two-year contract.

Having only taken up cycling in 2022 — after a youth career in orienteering — Liechti came to prominence at the end of 2024 with silver in the U23 individual time trial at the home World Championships in Zurich, then racing for the UCI World Cycling Centre. She later joined the Swiss Continental squad NEXETIS.

Over the past two seasons she has confirmed her strength against the clock while developing across other terrains; her power on rolling courses and fast finish have brought her nine UCI victories, making her one of the most promising talents moving up to the WorldTour.
