The road race program at Montreal 2026 opened with the Women U23 event over 10 laps of the World circuit. The decisive move came 30 km from the finish with Viktoria Chladonova, Isabella Holmgren and Fleur Moors clear. On the final climb of Voie Camillien-Houde Chladonova dropped Moors, and in the two-rider sprint the Slovakian claimed gold ahead of Holmgren. Bronze went to Moors, ahead of Mara Winter and Talia Appleton.
